Giving Back
At Adriatic, we've always believed that being part of a community means showing up for it. For over 50 years, this family business has been built on Victorian values — and supporting the causes that matter most to Victorians is something we take seriously.
My Room Children's Cancer
At Adriatic Furniture, we are proud to support My Room Children’s Cancer Charity, an inspiring organisation dedicated to fighting childhood cancer and supporting Australian families during their most challenging times.
My Room is a volunteer-led charity that truly understands the emotional and financial impact cancer has on families. Their mission is simple yet powerful — to bring hope, comfort, and meaningful support to children and their loved ones.
They are committed to ensuring every child has the best possible chance to overcome cancer by funding a holistic range of initiatives, including:
- Financial assistance for families through the Samaritan Fund
- Access to high-quality clinical care
- Investment in innovative medical research, trials, and life-saving equipment
What truly sets My Room apart is their hands-on approach. Working closely with leading medical experts and researchers, they focus on delivering real outcomes while cutting through unnecessary red tape — ensuring support reaches families when they need it most.
We are honoured to be associated with a charity that shares our values of care, compassion, and community. Together, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children battling cancer.
Very Special Kids
At Adriatic Furniture, we are proud to support Very Special Kids, a compassionate organisation dedicated to caring for children and young people with life limiting conditions, and supporting their families every step of the way.
Very Special Kids believes that every child and young person deserves the highest possible quality of life — no matter how long or short that life may be. They understand that every journey is unique, which is why their approach is tailored to meet the individual physical, emotional, and mental needs of both the child and their family.
Their holistic services ensure families are never alone, providing care, comfort, and guidance through incredibly challenging times.
A cornerstone of their work is Very Special Kids House, Victoria’s only children’s hospice of its kind. Founded through the vision of Sister Margaret Noone, it offers a dedicated space where children receive specialised care in a warm, supportive environment.
Through a compassionate, multidisciplinary approach, Very Special Kids provides free access to essential care and end-of-life support — ensuring dignity, comfort, and love for each child and their family.
As a largely self-funded charity, their work relies heavily on the generosity of the community and partners like us.
We are honoured to stand alongside an organisation that reflects our values of empathy, care, and community, helping families navigate their journey with support and understanding.
St Vincent de Paul Society
At Adriatic Furniture, we are proud to support the St Vincent de Paul Society (Vinnies), a dedicated organisation committed to helping people facing poverty, hardship, and social disadvantage across Australia.
Through a network of compassionate volunteers and local community programs, the St Vincent de Paul Society delivers practical support to those who need it most. Their services span a wide range of essential assistance, including:
- Emergency housing and homelessness support
- Food relief and everyday essentials
- Disaster recovery assistance
- Community support through local home visits
With more than 200 programs operating nationwide, their work reaches individuals and families experiencing difficult circumstances, providing both immediate relief and long-term support. [vinnies.org.au]
At the heart of everything they do is a commitment to dignity, equality, and compassion. The Society focuses not only on meeting immediate needs but also on addressing the root causes of poverty and social injustice by advocating for those who are marginalised or at risk. [vinnies.org.au]
Their mission is to build a fairer and more compassionate Australia — ensuring no one is left behind and that every person is treated with respect and understanding.
We are honoured to partner with an organisation that shares our values of care, community, and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
